Why Porchlight
A sick kid belongs at home.
A faster appointment isn't the whole story. A sick or anxious child, evaluated at home, is simply a better experience for the child and for the parent.
Your child stays in their own space
No waiting room full of other sick kids, no unfamiliar exam table. Just their own bed or couch, which matters for a scared or overtired child.
No hauling the other kids along
A trip to urgent care or the ER often means bringing every child in the house, disrupting naps, meals and everyone's day.
You schedule around your life
Not a walk-in queue. No guessing how long you'll be stuck before you can pick up another child from school or get to work.
No car ride with a sick child
Care comes to your home instead of loading up a miserable kid for a drive.
As your pediatrician.
- A provider who knows your child
- The same provider for well visits, sick visits and everything in between.
- Same-day access
- Members get same-day access, with direct messaging and a 90-minute response window.
- Well care included
- Well-child visits, developmental screening, and school and sports physicals are all part of ongoing care, on your schedule.
- Ongoing conditions
- Chronic condition management and medication oversight from a provider who already knows your child's history.
- Evaluations in-house
- ADHD and mental health evaluations happen here, without a separate specialist referral queue.
- Plain pricing
- Predictable, transparent pricing, with no insurance denials or surprise bills.
Instead of urgent care.
- Built around kids
- Pediatric-specific care, not a general, adult-focused model.
- IV fluids at home
- In-home IV fluids and hydration, which most urgent cares don't provide for children.
- Someone you know
- A known provider instead of a stranger, which matters for how comfortable a scared child feels during the visit.
- Follow-up
- The same provider manages the visit and any follow-up care.

In their words.
Three Porchlight families on what it means to have a provider who comes to them. Tap a name to watch.
And the ER?
The ER is built to put the most critical cases first, which is exactly right for emergencies. Porchlight handles the non-emergency visits, so families can keep the ER for what it does best.
Care That Comes Home
The light is on.
Not for emergencies. For any life-threatening or severe symptom, go straight to the emergency room. When to go to the ER
